Buku Sudoku, the first sudoku game to be released for the Xbox 360 consoles, will hit the market this spring, ready to delight all the sudoku fans in the world. The game will be published by unknown publisher Merscom.

Buku Sudoku will use three of the most appreciated Xbox Live Arcade features in order to create the "best Sudoku console experience". And it will probably be very easy to achieve this, having in mind that this game is the only sudoku game. Still, the developers promise to bring some high resolution graphics that will make the grid reading really easy. Also, they say that the controller's triggers and thumbsticks will allow a very fast numerical entry method, thus reducing the frustration of "video-sudoku". Buku Sudoku also promises to bring a great multiplayer experience, never ever seen before in a Sudoku game. Still, they offer no details regarding this mode of play, so we'll have to take their word for it.

"We are really excited about the release of Buku Sudoku, as it takes the proven and popular gameplay of Sudoku to a new level. It will appeal not only to Sudoku fans but anyone who loves a great gameplay experience," said Kirk Owen, Merscom's CEO. "Given the popularity of Sudoku on other platforms and the quality of the game, we expect Buku Sudoku to be a phenomental hit".

If you are one of the few that has no idea what Sudoku is, you don't have to worry, since the game comes with tutorials and different difficulty settings and, for the most advanced or hardcore players, with multiple puzzle sizes, control schemes and stuff like that.

Well, this might be some good news for the fans or for those who got tired of the paper and the pencil and would like to experience a HD Sudoku experience. Still, there's not much to say about such a game - Sudoku is Sudoku and that's it.
