No doubt you have seen them around. Customized versions of Internet Explorer 7. Yahoo delivered one concomitantly with the browser's release. USAToday has also made available for
download a personalized IE7 variant. The last additions to this list are Google and Web.de.

The process of customizing Internet Explorer 7 is not exclusive, and is not limited to these providers. And today, here on Softpedia Tweak Mode, we will present you with a way for YOU to customize Internet Explorer 7.

It just involves a bit of a download, namely the Internet Explorer Administration Kit 7, available right HERE on Softpedia. IEAK 7 will enable you to deploy and manage Web-based solutions and to personalize Internet Explorer 7, of course.

IEAK 7 permits the tailoring of all the aspects of the browser, brand IE7, include third-party add-ons, build and handle custom browser packages, alter the browser's appearance and the Setup program, add information to the title bar and choose the desired platform.

But the customization capabilities made available by IEAK 7 do not stop here. Microsoft even made the tool available in English, Finnish, French, German, Japanese and Spanish.

In fact, here is a more detailed list of the customization features delivered via the IEAK 7:

- Establish version control across your organization.
- Centrally distribute and manage browser installations.
- Configure automatic connection profiles for users' machines.
- Customize virtually any aspect of Internet Explorer, including features, security, communications settings, and other important elements.
- Customize the browser and other features to match your business objectives.
- Tailor Internet Explorer to different customer needs.
- Brand Internet Explorer and the dialer software you distribute.
- Flexibly deploy and distribute the browser.
- Include third-party add-ons with installation. The Internet Explorer Administration Kit makes it easy for you to generate a custom browser with Internet Explorer that can be deployed via Web download or CD to your subscribers.
- You can preset the following Web pages and links:
- Customer support page
- Users' home page
- Users' search providers
- Links in the Links bar
- Links in the Favorites bar
- Links to Explorer Bars
- Add-on Components page (for optional components)
- Add links to your organization's Web sites. For example, if your organization is a radio station, you could add links to Web pages that highlight play-lists and composers' biographies.
- Update the browser interface with your organization's branding. You can add your organization's name to the title bar.
- Track information about your customized browser software by using an agent string-a string of characters that a Web browser sends when it visits an Internet site. The custom string that you append to the user agent string enables Web sites to compile statistics about how many of your customers are using your browser to view those sites.

The Internet Explorer Administration Kit 7 was tested by Softpedia as being 100% Clean and is available for download here.
