TeamLava, a new social gaming company developing titles for the iPhone, recently announced the release of their social city-building game City Story for iOS devices.

Even though the company appeared on the scene only earlier this year, it already released its second title, after previously launching Farm Story for iOS.

Further, after releasing a host of updates for Farm Story, TeamLava decided to offer players an urban sequel to its former rural game.

In City Story, players are offered the chance to build their dream city, including cafes, boutiques, bakeries, hotels, landmarks and many more.

The game's philosophy is to make people build their own virtual little cities, and keep their citizens happy.

Thanks to the Facebook integration, gamers won't have to build their urban paradise from the ground up alone, as the game connects with Facebook to reward good neighbors who send messages and gifts to their friends.

The gifting system, as well as the whole Facebook integration gives player a more consistent experience, as well as a better city simulator with a wide range of unexpected challenges.

City Story is optimized for small touch screens and features vivid and colorful. Other key features of the game include: Choose from over 50 varieties of buildings, businesses, and parks; Design and decorate your city with parks, roads, and rivers; Get notifications when your contracts are ready; Invite your Facebook friends to be your neighbors; Send exclusive buildings as gifts to your friends.

Moreover, City Story also includes free updates with new businesses, houses, parks, landmarks and more every week.

City Story is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices running iPhone OS 3.0 or later. A network connection is required to be able to play the game, as well as 9 MB storage space.

City Story is free to play and can be downloaded starting this week from the App Store.
