Buffer has released an updated version of its flagship app bearing the company’s name that lets you share to Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, and App.net simultaneously from the Buffer interface, all on your preferred schedule.

“Any link, text, picture or video you want to share, just add it to your Buffer. Your updates will automatically be scheduled and spaced out throughout the day to post to your favorite social networks. Plus, any update can also be ‘posted now’ inside the app,” Buffer explains.

Version 3.1 arrived today with support for Two-Factor Authentication, which basically means you have to authenticate your log-in with a code that they send you. This ensures that your account is extra safe.

The update further includes improved accessibility support and the ability to switch accounts by long-pressing the top bar and dragging to the account you want to sign into. Users can also decide how they want their links shortened in Profile Settings, where a bunch of new link-shortening options have been added. Some bugs have also been addressed.

Buffer is still only localized in English and works with any iDevice that supports iOS 7, starting with iPhone 4, iPad 2, and the fifth-generation iPod touch.
