The TeraStation is a high-performance NAS device that comes in storage capacities of 2TB, 4TB, 6TB and 8TB. It has a strong power supply, an “oversized” cooling solution and 128-bit AES encryption for security. Reliability is provided by the hot swappable drives, which enable a continuous use of the device “even in the unlikely event of a component failure.” In addition, the unit features protocol support for SMB/CIFs, NFS, FTP/SFTP, AFP and AppleTalk. The product measures 6.7 x 8.5 x 9.1 inches and weighs about 13.8 lbs.
