Just now, Buffalo has unveiled the latest firmware developed for its TS-V NAS series, namely version 1.20, which brings various fixes that improve the compatible devices’ overall performance.

To be clearer, the network storages that support this release are the TS-WVHL/R1, TS-QVHL/R6, TS-RVHL/R6, TS-6VHL/R6, and TS-8VHL/R6 devices. Make sure you don’t install this update on any other TeraStation product than the ones mentioned above.

Through this firmware, the alphanumeric characters bug spotted when trying to log from an iOS 6 device is fixed, and the folder problems related to the DFS link and backup features are now resolved.

Moreover, the system doesn’t give a false error when switching UPS to battery power, and it doesn’t have any inaccessible folders anymore, even after an unsuccessful format.

In addition to that, the performance when accessing multiple files on the replication target is improved, the system log settings now provide the replication log option, and the devices don’t have any issue regarding deleting multiple files with trash enabled.

That being said, follow the link below, and from the list, choose the one that best describes your TeraStation storage, click on the download button, and update your device’s firmware version.
