We have seen the 1.5TB Buffalo DriveStation HDD, the one that specializes in TV recording, so now we are looking at the other hard disks that Buffalo has prepared.

Once again, some new additions have been made to the MiniStation series of portable storage devices.

The newcomers bear the name of HD-PZU3 and are two in number, their capacities being of 500 GB and 1 TB, respectively.

Both possess a high impact resistance (internal shock-absorption system and rubber case), enough to meet US military drop-test standard MIL-STD-810F 516.5.

Additionally, Buffalo implemented 256-bit AES hardware encryption and the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 connectivity.

Finally, the drives come with built-in USB cables, one-year warranties and prices of $198 (150.46 Euro) and $252 (191.50 Euro). “Deep Red,” “Indigo Black” and “Dark Silver” are the colors.
