When Pirates of The Caribbean ended, it was very clear that a sequel will follow and Disney didn't hide the fact that it already has a script and the actors have been already enlisted for the second part of the series.

The sequel's name will be Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and it will be launched in July 2006, the main characters being played by Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley But the movie is less important, and we are interested in the game accompanying the launching of this title.

Buena Vista Games announced that it's already working on this game and this time, the players will be able to take control of any main character: Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner or Elisabeth Swann. Obviously, the story will vary according to the chosen character.

The game will be based on the action from the movie, but it will add intrigues, adventures and new locations.

Buena Vista Games announced that it will develop versions for Nintendo and PSP, but also for the next generation consoles, which will be entrusted to Eurocom.

Although there is now word about a PC version, it is unlikely that Buena Vista will omit such a platform, especially since Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest will be followed by other titles.
