The dust hasn't yet fully settled on the success that was “X-Men: The Days of Future Past,” but work has already begun on the next installment in the franchise, which has the potential to be the biggest yet.

The director for the movies, Bryan Singer, knows how to build up fans and create momentum for his next cinematic effort. In a photo posted on his Instagram account, Singer shows the first page in the script for “X-Men: Apocalypse,” and fans are already scrabbling to make heads or Tails of the few words that appear in the shot.

The title in the photo somberly announces that this is the first act of the movie, with the subtitle Sequence One 1-15. The angle of the shot and its size don't allow for the whole page to be visible, so it's really impossible to read a complete sentence from the page.

However, there are a few words that stand out and that are going to have fans speculating for months. For example, words like “The Four Horsemen,” “Nile,” “smoke,” “burning,” and “battle” are going to rouse people's attention and create some sort of image in their mind of how the opening scene of the movie is going to play out.

At the moment, “X-Men: Apocalypse” is in pre-production, but Bryan seems to be eager to share his progress with fans. The movie is due out in theaters on May 27, 2016.
