A British teenager is saying the director molested him too

A new blow is dealt to X-Men director Bryan Singer, who has seen his name dragged into a nasty molestation trial right before his latest mutant movie is set to premiere. Singer had been accused along with several other heavyweights in the industry of luring young boys to lavish parties and forcing themselves on them.

This week, there is a new man coming forward saying that Singer and Gary Goddard molested him in his younger years. The man claims that two assaulted him at a party and is now seeking punishment.

The man who hasn't been named yet is adding his accusations to the ones made by Michael Egan, now 31, who was the first to accuse Singer of indecent behavior. Egan explained in detail how Singer along with other bigshots used to lure teenaged boys at their parties and force them to perform a wide range of lewd acts after getting them drunk or drugged.

The Hollywood Reporter spoke with the director's lawyer, Marty Singer (they are not related) and found out that the allegations were “totally untrue.” The lawyer claims that “previous defamatory and fabricated filing in Hawaii was disproved based on unassailable evidence, Mr. Herman’s desperation has led him to fabricate these new anonymous accusations against Mr. Singer, which we will also prove to be completely false.”

Jeff Herman is the lawyer of the alleged victims, making the accusations against Singer and Goddard. The defenders' camp have spoken vehemently against this latest accusation and have deemed it to be a ploy to weaken their clients' reputations.

Goddard's lawyer said that “It is a shame that the specious claim made by Herman in the Egan case has resulted in this new claim that we note is over 10 years old. For now we will say the claims are denied and Gary will vigorously defend.”

He also added that “It is a sad indictment on society that when once spurious claims making false, serious and highly damaging allegations have been made – especially where compensation is sought – that other similar claims may follow.”

It has gotten so bad between the two camps, that Singer's lawyer is now seeking “sanctions against Mr. Herman for his reckless, unethical behavior.”

It's not known if Bryan Singer has indeed been involved in teen molestation, but the damage may have already been done, since the director has willingly chosen to distance himself from actively promoting his latest film “X-Men: The Days of Future Past,” fearing that his scandal will drive down box office earnings.
