Brute Force Cheats and Unlockables (Xbox)

Take control of any one of four highly specialized super-commandos in Brute Force a new action-packed sci-fi, squad-based shooter game and the first Xbox title from world-renowned developer Digital Anvil. Whether the encounter requires stealth, tactics, sniping, or just "Brute Force," the team is ready and able. Sure, being a super-commando is pretty sweet, but what if you could play as a super-commando with unlimited ammo?! Try that Brute Force cheat and others:

Glitch: Hunter Lord
There is an "easy" way of getting through the final level of Brute Force, where you are required to take out the Hunter Lord. It goes like this:

Keep your entire team standing ground at the entrance, where the Hunter Lord will not yet strike. Take Hawk out to the hiding spot up on the right side, making sure she dispatches as many Shrike as she can on the way. When she gets there, she will have access to a sniper rifle. You must use Hawk because she can cloak; you will run too much risk trying to get the others there.

After she has cleared a path, move Tex up to the same point, and again, have him stand ground. Move Brutus up too if you wish, but leave Flint there; she'll be no use this time. If you can provoke Hunter Lord to move to the far right standpoint, then do so; he'll find it harder to hit you. Take Hawk further round the side, through the foggy passage to take out the turrets (there are lots) and shield generators and the remaining Shrike. If necessary, bring Brutus with her in Vengar mode to back her up.

At this stage, leave Hawk somewhere safe in this region to regenerate stamina. Send Brutus around the corner, past the second lump of rock, and have him get the DNA canister beyond the broken pipe. From here, it looks like Brutus could jump to the rocks in front of him, so have him do that. He'll miss and land on a rock in the mercury pool; you will now no longer be able to use him unless you kill him and regenerate him later.

Now take Hawk, in Cloaked mode, to the meteor control center by going back the way you came and further down into the trenches, toward the orange area. Keep her cloaked; there is a turret and a couple of Shrike here. If you can't handle it, find somewhere safe to regenerate and throw your remaining Sonic Grenades in. After you have Hawk at the control center, move Tex out on Fire At Will mode. He will make the Hunter Lord keep moving around and eventually will place him for the meteor attack.

If Tex dies, take out Flint in Fire At Will mode; she will die fairly quickly. That leaves you with Hawk, who can fire at virtually all of Hunter Lord's positions from where she is. If he fires at you, hit the meteor control. It will remove his attack nine times out of 10. If Hawk dies, regenerate her using the second controller (remember you left Brutus alive; you can't lose), and cloak her again. Remember to be quick, as she will regenerate in the line of fire. Also, remember Hunter Lord does have to reload his weapon; you can get a few well-timed shots in to move him about if you need to.

Rapidfire
Create a new profile. Name it "RAPIDFIRE." Play your file; weapons will simply have a much higher rate of fire.

Downed Satellite Hint
When retrieving the downed satellite, stand back from the final area. Place Flint and Hawk high behind you to snipe out the seemingly endless supply of red-hand goons. Go with your bio rifle as Tex and Brutus. The bio gun will burst the lead goon, killing those close to him. By standing back a bit from where they spawn, you should find the killing much easier. The DNA canister is just past the satellite at the edge of the lava. Just walk around the ringed walkway and you'll find it.

Easy Teleporters for Lava Levels
The teleporters that the seers use are easy to destroy. All that you have to do is put a grenade (energy and sonic work the best if enemys are near the teleporter) right near it, and get out of the way.

Easy Attacking
Use your other characters to support you at the flanks; this will make it easy for you to attack!

Hint on DNA Canisters
They are always in the final chapter of a mission.

Effective Weapons
Good weapons against the shadoon are shotguns or any projectile. (Teleporters die faster with energy.) Bad weapons against them are bio ones!

Good weapons against the lizard things are bio weapons (my favorite), miniguns, shotguns, and sniper rifles. Bad weapons are pistols and smaller energy weapons.

Good weapons against the mutants are sniper rifles, energy weapons, miniguns, and powerful pistols. Bad weapons are bio ones.

Good weapons against terrorists and marines are basically all heavy weapons and a small number of handguns.

Get Multiplayer Characters
Collect the DNA containers throughout the levels to get more characters.

Easy Power-ups at Lava Levels
You can get easy ammo, grenades, and medpaks in those lava levels (the first lava level you get Hawk) by going into those little blue huts. The guy says something like, "I got a good signal on this place." Then power-ups come up. Then, whenever you go in a little blue hut, power-ups come.

Quick Stamina Growth
When you run out of stamina for any team mate, go somewhere safe and press the left thumbstick to duck. By doing this, your stamina grows like three times faster!

Build Squads for Squad Deathmatch Mode
Find the relevant DNA canisters to unlock the following squads for use in squad deathmatch mode:

BRUTE FORCE SQUA-Tex, Brutus, Flint, and Hawk

FERAL HUNTING PACK-Feral Conlonist, Feral Shaman, Feral Outcast, and Outcast Shaman

SHRIKE RAIDERS-Shrike Hound, Shrike Soldier, Shrike Heavy, and Hunter Lord

FERGUSON PLATOON-Confed Marine, Militia, Gunthar Ghent, and McTavish

DNA on Return to Osiris
Are you having problems finding the DNA on the level Return to Osiris? This DNA is on the first chapter, even though all the other DNAs are always on the last chapter. You know the place where Tex says, "It looks like we disturbed pray time."? Well, it is in the place where the slaves are praying to Shadoon's hologram.

DNA (Seers on Bayou)
Having trouble finding the DNA on Seers on Bayou? It is not on the final chapter; it's on Chapter 4.

Regenerating Teammate
Here's a little cheat to regenerate your teammates. If you're on your last guy, insert another three controllers into your Xbox and press start. As new players join, your teammates will be brought back to life. Now just quit out of the three games you just opened, and you'll go back to single-player mode, but your teammates will remain.

Regeneration Glitch (Special Energy)
Regenerate special energy quickly by crouching. (Push in the left joystick.)

Unlock Deathmatch Squads
Unlock all squads for squad deathmatch by pressing A, Y, B, X, Black.

Unlimited Ammo
Get unlimited ammo by pressing White, Black, Left, Right.

The Perfect Murder
On the first Osirus level (Hunting for Shadoon), when you get to the landing pad, have Hawk go to the seer teleporter and blow it up. She will die, and her body should fly of the edge. Now if you still have the sniper rifle, zoom in and shoot Hawk's head. If done correctly, her body will move, then roll into the lava. You should see fire burn her body and stop.
