Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be entertaining the crowd on the biggest televised sporting event of the year, the Super Bowl, this Sunday, for the Halftime performance. Speaking with the press hours ago, Bruno said he “ain’t scared” about what’s to come.

Check out the video above for the Halftime Pepsi conference, which took place at the Rose Theater in the Time Warner Center and was meant to boost interest even more in the performance.

The Super Bowl will take place at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. and will see the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos fight for the title.

Bruno told the press that he wasn’t nervous about the performance, neither in terms of how it might affect his career nor of how the weather would influence it. He also promised a show that would entertain, but he said he wouldn’t do acrobatics for that. In other words, it’s all about the music with him, which I’m sure his fans already know.

My favorite part from the press conference was when Bruno was his usual humble self, speaking about the “chance” the NFL bestowed on him by asking him to perform.

“The NFL is such a prestigious stage... that they give the new guy a shot, and I'm so grateful for that. I haven't been able to take it in. Not yet. Come Sunday, I will,” he said, adding later that he still considered himself a sort of outcast in the music industry.

Are you psyched about Bruno’s Halftime performance?
