14 DAY TRIAL // As announced almost a week ago, Bruno Mars is bringing his new music video, for the single “Gorilla,” exclusively on Facebook for a limited time. It is now out and it’s hotter than you could have ever imagined.
In fact, it’s so hot that I can’t even embed it here, so you will have to check it out at Mars’ Facebook page. *Please note that discretion is recommended because it contains graphic images and language that might offend.
Besides the fact that the video oozes sensuality, it also stands out for casting two very well-known faces from the movie industry: Freida Pinto is Isabella, Bruno’s lover and a dancer at an ill-famed joint South of the border, and Luis Guzman is the sleazy owner of the establishment.
Even though the video makes no qualms about being the literal visual companion for the song (listen to the words to “Gorilla” and you will understand), it doesn’t come across as cheap or forced.
I doubt Pinto is doing most of the acrobatics shown in the video but, other than that, she’s amazing. Of course, Bruno is always that, so it goes without saying.
