On June 13, paparazzo Anthony Goodrich claimed that he was attacked by 'Die Hard' star Bruce Willis when trying to get his photo, outside Koi, a popular Hollywood Chinese restaurant.
Later, the 'victim' made the tape of the encounter public, showing off a chopped tooth and a bruised nose and claimed that the actor virtually smashed his face with the camera while he was just trying to do his job. From his words, everybody understood that the star applied all those action movie moves on him, adding as a finishing touch a powerful uppercut. What Goodrich didn't show the public was the fact that Willis apologized after the incident and that, on the whole, the entire 'attack' was a mere accident.
The actor contacted his lawyers and is now demanding damages worth $1 million, as well as other punitive measures. Bruce stated that there was no uppercutting done and that he was just shielding his face with his hands so as not to be blinded by the flash, thus, unintentionally, barely touching Goodrich (which can also be seen on the tape).
Unfortunately, nobody can find the photographer for comments or to serve him the citation.
