More details have emerged about Bruce Willis' replacement with Harrison Ford in the “Expendables 3” franchise.

As I documented before, Sylvester Stallone broke the news via Twitter. The actor wrote that he was happy with the new choice of co-star and dubbed Willis “greedy and lazy,” also hinting that his career was splitting.

It appears that Willis asked for $1M (€740K) per day to be on the set for four days. He was offered a little bit less than that – $3M (€2.24M) for the entire three days. However, he turned down that offer.

“I think [Willis] was pretty surprised he was replaced in 72 hours by Harrison Ford -- a better actor, a much nicer person and a more interesting direction for the film,” an insider says, as relayed by the Huffington Post.
