Bruce Willis Joins Billy Bob Thornton in THE ASTRONAUT FARMER

Bruce Willis, Bruce Dern and Virginia Madsen have joined tha cast of The Astronaut Farmer, which the Polish Brothers are making for Warner Independent Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie revolves around an eccentric farmer (Billy Bob Thornton) who dreams of space travel and sets out to build a rocket in his barn. His neighbors consider him an oddity, the government thinks he is a threat and the media see him as a story.

Willis will be the farmer's former NASA colleague, while Virginia Madsen plays the farmer's wife, while, Bruce Dern portrays Madsen's father.

THE ASTRONAUT FARMER has recently started shooting in New Mexico.
