Actor Bruce Willis has been branded as a 'bad tipper" by a furious waitress on the popular website bitterwaitress.com, because he lacks of generosity when tipping at restaurants.
According to one of the actor's closest friend, George Sheinberg, Willis, 50, got really angry when he found out about this, because he is always leaving big tips.
Sheinberg said: 'Bruce is extremely generous. This is rubbish.'
Sheinberg declared to America's New York Post newspaper that he knows why sometimes, the actor is called a bad tipper: "Normally he travels with an entourage, and there is a 'designated payer'.
Sometimes the hassle of 'fans' forces him to leave, and the group leaves en masse. A couple of times when they departed, I ended up paying the bill, and I can't tell you how sorry he was afterwards."
According to another story on the website, one waitress said: "I work in a busy Diner in Pennsville New Jersey, which happens to be Bruce Willis' hometown. Well one Saturday morning he stopped in for breakfast.
He sat himself at the last seat at the counter (by the door) and asked for a cup of coffee. He was dressed very nice in a black suit, sat alone, and didn't speak much, yet had a friendly disposition.
He ordered a lot but ate about 2% of his food. Eggs o/medium with bacon and extra side of bacon. When he left, he tipped five or six of us servers about 5-10$ each. GREAT tipper considering his bill was less than 5$ itself.
I heard he wouldn't sign autographs, but give him a break, he was eating! He seemed like a real nice guy."
