Celebrities often complain about what it’s like to lose their anonymity and have their privacy constantly violated, to the point that the public has grown to be accustomed to stories of this type. This, of course, doesn’t make it better for the stars – and it certainly hasn’t for Bruce Willis, who reacted in a surprising manner when a female fan poked him in the shoulder the other night, as RadarOnline informs.

The actor and his new wife, Emma Heming, were in the VIP lounge at the New York Fashion Week, waiting for the Erin Wasson show to start. To pass the time, they were sipping on cocktails, which is when a hoard of female fans noticed Bruce and approached them for pictures. The actor, Radar says, was very gracious at first, smiling for the cameras and even posing for pictures with the fans, but he did draw a line when it came to physical contact.

“Don’t invade Bruce Willis’ personal space because if you do he WILL go John McClane on you. It looked like a scene out of Die Hard when Bruce Willis exploded at a fan this weekend, turning into his tough-guy movie character and getting in the face of a too-close admirer. We know because we saw it all unfold in backstage lounge for VIPs during New York Fashion Week. And the truth is Willis' rage was provoked – actually and literally poked!” Radar writes.

“A few of the women snapped photos with their camera phones and Bruce was gracious, smiling for some of the shots. Then one fan got too close and poked the action star in the shoulder, as a way of greeting him. Bruce was furious at the stranger. He was visibly angry, leaned in very close to her and put his finger right in her face. He then said, ‘Don’t you EVER touch me, understand?’ The (former) fan appeared shocked and frightened. Bruce then told his posse and said, ‘I need to leave.’ And with that, slipped into the backstage area of the show.” the same publication further explains of the incident in question.

Bruce and his entourage then left the lounge, drinks in hand and fuming mad. As he got out, he saw the paparazzi waiting for him and tried to hide the glass he was still carrying, even attempting to hide it in his sleeve, the same report says. One of his friends saw his predicament and took the glass from his hand – and that was it of the incident.
