Following a successful 18-show American tour, Springsteen just announced that he is to tour Europe this autumn, to promote the Columbia-produced album 'We Shall Overcome'.
The tour is scheduled to start on October 1st in Bologna, Italy and it will end in November 21 in Belfast, Ireland. The massive hit that its American counterpart registered, cashing in almost $6.5 million for just ten dates, might have been a good reason for convincing the artists to take their music to the European continent as well.
Another surprise for the fans is the fact that Bruce is also considering releasing an expanded version of the album. The track 'American Land' was used as an opener in the last three shows and it is rumored that it will also be included on the extended material.
Speculations have the release date of the improved 'We Shall Overcome' set for September 5th and, last month, Springsteen told CNN that it will include a new version of 'Bring 'Em Home' too, a song that was almost a constant during the American tour.
