The final agenda for TrustyCon, the trustworthy technology conference that will be held in San Francisco on February 27, has been published. World-renowned cryptography expert Bruce Schneier will also speak at the event.
Several security, cryptography and privacy experts will hold talks at TrustyCon. The list includes F-Secure’s Mikko Hypponen; Garrett Robinson, Yan Zhu of the SecureDrop project; DEF CON Founder Jeff Moss; Privacy Attorney Marcia Hofmann; ACLU Principal Technologist Christopher Soghoian; and PrivateCore Co-Founder Steve Weis.
Ed Felten, a professor of computer science and public affairs at Princeton University; Google’s Chris Palmer; and Stanford University Professor of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Dan Boneh will also take the stage.
Tickets are sold out. However, if a ticket holder doesn’t show up by 9:45, empty seats can be occupied by those in the stand-by line.
TrustyCon was launched after several experts announced canceling their RSA Conference talks due to the recent controversy regarding a contract between the NSA and RSA. All the proceeds from the event will go to the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF).
