14 DAY TRIAL // It looks like all Bruce and Kris Jenner really needed was some time apart and then a vacation together to get their affairs in order. After announcing that they were separating on their reality show “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” the couple was now spotted lovingly holding hands as they returned from their trip to Thailand at LAX airport.
In October 2013, Bruce and Kris told their shocked brood that they were going to separate but still try to keep things going for the sake of their children. So Bruce moved out of the home after more than 22 years of marriage and left the children and the rest of the world in a daze as to what he was going to do next.
He took up residence in the family's Malibu beach home while Kris stayed behind in the Kardashian crib in Calabasas. “To be honest, I just don't see myself going back,” he admitted to the cameras at the time, as his young daughters began crying and speculating that this would lead to an eventual separation from their half-siblings.
But things seemed to be looking up after the entire family took a trip to Thailand as part of the filming for the new season of Keeping up with the Kardashians. Bruce and Jenner looked happy and relaxed, holding hands as they landed at LAX Airport on Wednesday, April 2. Tanned and smiling, the two didn't shy away when photographers from Us Weekly began snapping at them.
Now don't go asking what Thailand has done to these two to make them reconcile, but the fact that they were spotted hand in hand is pretty big, since it's the first sign of intimacy they have displayed since they announced their split.
Bruce's presence in Thailand seems to quash rumors that he was going to drop out of the reality show, due to his plans for a gender change operation. Many publications showed photos of Bruce and honestly, there were a lot of changes to his demeanor to indicate that he was indeed undergoing operations to have himself turned into a woman.
However, both him and his family vehemently denied such allegations and maintained that Bruce, a former athlete and Olympian was going to stay as manly as ever. Sure, that didn't explain the fact that he had just had surgery to shave down his Adam's apple, was seen with long manicured fingernails and grew his hair into a long and dyed ponytail.
It was considered that his desire to become a woman was the real reason why he and Kris decided to split up so suddenly and unexpectedly after years of being married.
