14 DAY TRIAL // Since before his split from Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, Bruce Jenner was the object of certain rumors that claimed that his all-too-obvious love of plastic surgery and the split itself were actually signs that he was about to get gender reassignment surgery. They’re still very much around.
If anything, they’ve only picked up speed in recent months, with the latest issue of Star reporting that Bruce has a “sex change coach” now, who is counseling him every step of the way. She is Dr. Renee Richards, a transgender sports pioneer who also happens to be one of Bruce’s longtime friends.
According to Radar Online, the sister publication of Star, Bruce is determined to go through with the surgery and has even picked out a name he wants to go by once he’s a woman: Bridgitte.
However, Dr. Richards is telling him that he should first exhaust all other means available to him because, “[the surgery is] a serious, life-altering procedure and is not something to do unless you absolutely have no other choice.”
“She said someone should consider antidepressants first, because life could become an irreversible train-wreck if you’re not completely certain about having the surgery,” an insider reveals for the publication.
So far, Bruce is yet to address the rumors about his so-called plans of becoming female, though estranged wife Kris did laugh them off in one interview, saying that, just because he liked to get his nails done and had grown his hair into a ponytail, it didn’t mean that he would get gender reassignment surgery anytime soon.
However, if one is to believe reports online, Bruce has done a bit more than just get a manicure and grow out his hair: he’s also had his Adam’s apple shaved off through plastic surgery and has grown breasts following hormonal therapy.
Insiders claim that this might be the reason why he and Kris split after so many years as a married couple, because he knew he was a woman inside – and wanted the exterior to change to reflect that.
Though separated, the two reality stars are still on very good terms, even going on vacation together. Just the other day, they landed at LAX after a family vacation in Thailand (sponsored by E!, of course, because cameras for their reality show were in tow) and, much to the surprise of the awaiting paparazzi, they were holding hands.
Again, if we’re to believe the rumors, Bruce is either getting back with Kris or about to become Bridgitte.
