14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier this week, rumors started picking up again that Bruce Jenner, former Olympian and current reality star, was determined to make the transition to woman, after having his Adam’s apple shaved off and scheduling the surgery for gender reassignment.
Even though such reports have been around for some time, gaining ground particularly after Bruce and wife of 22 years Kris Jenner announced they had decided to separate, it’s just now that members of the family react to them.
First of all, future son-in-law Kanye West, who is engaged to be married to Kim Kardashian, is telling his friends that Bruce wants to bed women, not become like them, Hollywood Life reports.
“Bruce is an Olympic icon who can still get women at 64. He wants to [sleep with] women, not become one. Kanye doesn’t believe Bruce is messing with anything below the belt on his body,” an insider says for the e-zine.
Kanye’s explanation for this persistent rumor about Bruce is that it’s just another way for the media to attack the Kardashians. However, he is convinced that there is no truth to it because he knows Bruce.
Kris Jenner says the same, as the video embedded below, at the end of the article, can confirm. Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the matriarch laughs off any talk of gender reassignment surgery, saying that the very fact that these rumors exist is testament to the Kardashians’ popularity.
“Ninety-nine percent of the stuff in the tabloids is made up. I think when he gets his nails buffed they put clear [nail polish on him]. The bottom line is, we sell magazines,” Kris says, referring to photos that reignited the rumors, of Bruce sporting perfectly manicured long fingernails.
The only one who hasn’t said anything about the rumors yet is, strangely enough, Bruce himself.
