14 DAY TRIAL // You might have been shocked at the recent transformation that left former Olympian Bruce Jenner looking more and more like a woman, but his friends saw this coming from a mile away. A new report by Radar, which quotes people from his entourage, claims that Bruce has been working on his transformation for over 20 years.
Considering that his marriage with Kris Jenner has lasted for 23 years, it's safe to assume that a couple of years after he tied the knot with her, Bruce decided that he'd rather be a woman than a man. One insider conforms that the athlete was “ready” for life as a woman decades ago.
Friends confirm that Bruce has been acting feminine for years
“When I met Bruce I thought he was a girl. He acts like a girl, walks like a girl. He’s a girl,” says the unnamed source. The same person also adds that Bruce might like boys better than girls, but so far he hasn't been seen to taken up on that part of his transition.
Just last week, the reality star was spotted out on the town with a mystery brunette who seems to have been suggested to him by his son who went on a double date with him. Prior to that, Bruce was married to Kris, and at least as far as the press is concerned, he was faithful to her, despite getting separated from her for a couple of months at the end.
There have always been rumors about Bruce's changing personality over the years but his recent divorce from Kris and his shocking bodily modifications he chose to display lately have kicked up a storm in the media about the fact that Bruce is slowly but surely working his way to become Barbara.
The biggest sign, friends say, was the fact in February of this year he shaved down his Adam's apple, a surgery usually reserved for men changing genders. At the time, he denied the rumors and replied that “I just never liked my trachea.”

The same insiders reveal how Bruce was happy when he announced his split from Kris, saying “I’m finally free to do what I want and live life the way I want.” Some of his family members secretly maintained that Bruce was being too nice to his wife and that he would live longer if the two were to part.
Now that the couple is divorced, it's going to be interesting to watch if Bruce is going to prove the rumors right and finally change his gender, which would explain all the current changes. If the insiders are right, for Bruce it would be a liberating experience 20 years in the making.
