Kim Kardashian has often said she thinks of Bruce Jenner, her mother's husband, as of her dad but, it would seem, she didn't even consider him when she talked to her family about divorce Kris Humphries after just 72 days.In her many attempts to get the public back on her side, Kim has said that the decision to divorce Kris didn't come all of a sudden and was definitely not a PR stunt to boost ratings for her E! reality show.
Repeatedly, she even hinted that she had talked it through with her family but, if she did, Bruce wasn't on the list, as he admits himself in a new interview with
OK! Magazine.
“Actually, I found out she was getting divorced by hearing about it on the news and stuff. I was like, the last to know,” he says.
Word online has it that Kim didn't even bother to tell Kris Humphries either and that she issued the divorce announcement and let him find out about it in the media as well, as we
also reported a while back.
By comparison, it would seem that Bruce had an advantage on the scorned husband.
“But I could hear telephone conversations in other rooms happening and I knew something was up but I didn’t know it was that bad until after,” he tells the celebrity magazine.
Asked if he ever gave Kim any advice on how to handle things in her personal life, Bruce stresses he usually tries not to, presumably because she's got plenty of people to help her out in her mother and sisters.
“I’m smart enough to stay out of all those things. I have given them advice through out the years, but in this particular case I kept my mouth shut. I didn’t want to... you don’t get involved in love. Just hope for the best,” he says.
Bruce's comments come just a couple of days after Kim Kardashian tried to do some damage control on her image again, co-hosting Live with Kelly! with Kelly Ripa and saying that she couldn't have married for money because she's a smart businesswoman and that would have been
a bad business decision.
