I have no idea who thought Brooke Hogan would make a fine "reality star", but I think they will soon realize they made a bad, bad choice. Nevertheless, in the meantime we'll be able to feast our eyes on the wonderfully intuitive and intelligent Miss Hogan and watch her as she most likely makes a fool of herself in "Brooke Hogan Knows Best", which is, as you may have already guessed, a spinoff of her daddy's show "Hogan Knows Best". I never really managed to fathom the deep hidden meanings of this reality show's title - all I can say is that now it comes across as extremely ironic. So much so that we can all safely say (Hulk) Hogan definitely doesn't know best - otherwise he wouldn't have had an affair with one of his daughter's best friends.
It would be very wrong of us to assume Brooke's new reality series is simply trying to capitalize on the renewed recent interest in the Hogans, right? And the fact is, Brooke's family has been in the news a lot over the past weeks, but for all the wrong reasons. First Linda and Hulk are officially starting what looks like a very long, public and complicated divorce battle. Then, the marine Nick Hogan critically injured in his car accident in August last year is still in a critical condition, and the irresponsible junior Hogan is the only one to blame in this case. Also, Nick is facing serious jail time, and has yet to assume any responsibility for putting his friend in a vegetative state for the rest of his life. And finally, Hulk Hogan did just about one of the most idiotic things a father could do and had an affair with one of his daughter's best friends. Now that's what I call a messed-up family.
""Brooke Hogan Knows Best" will follow the 19-year-old Brooke as she leaves the very protective and large arms of her pro-wrestling legend father, moves to Miami and embarks on her career. The show will also feature her two roommates, various friends and love interests, and most likely mom and dad", reads a VH1 description of the upcoming show. Yes, well I have a feeling Hulk and Linda will either be featured separately, or they will be shown cat-fighting and shouting insults at each other. I hate to be the cold-hearted bitch I usually am, but while this will most likely boost ratings, it will make the Hogans appear as even bigger losers than some of us think they already are. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...
