Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon is the third installment in the Broken Sword series of computer games, and was released on November 17, 2003. George and Nico return in the third Broken Sword game, released in October 2003 by THQ (Europe) and The Adventure Company (North America). This time the game is 3D (though the camera does not rotate, as in Resident Evil games), unlike the two previous games which are traditional 2D point-and-click games.
The Knights Templar return in another globetrotting adventure, taking the protagonists to Glastonbury, Paris, Cairo, Prague and the Congo. Rolf Saxon leads the cast, reprising his role as George, and Sarah Crook takes on the role of Nicole Collard. It was released as Les Chevaliers de Baphomet: Le manuscrit de Voynich in France, Baphomets Fluch: Der schlafende Drache in Germany, Broken Sword: Il sonno del drago in Italy and Broken Sword: El
sueño del dragón in Spain.
Unlockables
Unlock Extras Beat the game once in order to unlock the ''Extras''. When you finish the game, you'll be prompted to save your finished game; confirm this. After returning to the main menu, an additional option, the ''Extras'', will appear below the other options. The ''Extras'' provide concept art and other stuff referring to the Broken Sword games.
Easter Eggs
Secret Area This is a pretty cool secret area that can be found in Paris. With Nico, when you first exit Vernon Bliers apartment and go down the stairwell, walk over to the skater. When he stops moving, try to use the lipstick on him. Nico won't do anything but you have now unlocked the area. Go towards the park and take the exit next to it (Not the road at the very bottom). Instead of Nico saying "I considered leaving the area" a loading screen will come up and you will now be in the secret area. There is nothing to do here except try to open a few doors and chase the dog that runs around here. There's also a nice view of the Eiffel Tower as well as being able to cross halfway across a bridge over a river.
