As we're used to seeing Britney not wearing a bra, it wasn't a shock when the diva went shopping in Malibu, Los Angeles without one. But hitting the shops all by herself, without her wedding ring was quite a new thing.

While taking some shopping therapy, the singer was spotted and photographed without her marital ring.

"Britney didn't look very happy as she shopped for flowers and was chatting away on her phone," an onlooker says. The family was recently asked whether the couple is on the verge of splitting up, but the 23-year-old pop princess denied rumors of a rift with hubby Kevin Federline, 27, since the birth of their three-month old son Sean Preston.

Still, the absence of her wedding band suggests otherwise.

After buying all sorts of things for her own joy, "she then popped into another shop and looked at nightdresses," the same onlooker claims. Could she be a little bit desperate and might this be an attempt of spicing things up with Kev?!
