Britney Took Her Own Son Hostage

You know why I like Brit Brit so much? Because when it comes to her, nine times out of ten the truth is better than anything we might imagine – and I mean anything. It's happening now, too. Slowly, the details of what really happened last night are emerging, and let me tell you this: they're not pleasant. It would seem that not only was Brit Brit on drugs, but she in fact locked herself in the house with little Jayden James, effectively taking her younger son prisoner. We don't know (yet) what happened after the police managed to get inside and what Britney did to Jayden before she could be stopped, but this much is a fact: the little boy was transported to the hospital in a different ambulance, while Britney was taken to Cedars-Sinai strapped to her gurney and accompanied by police officers.

Also, it seems that Britney will spend at least 72 hours at Cedars Sinai for evaluation. OK magazine reports that in fact Britney will be booked for an unknown offense if/when she is released from hospital, which leads me to believe that Brit did something serious enough to possibly land her in jail. "We are concerned about her mental state and believe she may be under the influence" an unnamed police officer who was at the scene stated for OK. And while that would be enough to put Britney away for a very long time, it's obvious it's not simply drugs – but that the singer has finally cracked and probably had something along the lines of a nervous breakdown.

At the hospital, Britney has been labeled a "special needs" patient, which means that she either tried to kill herself or overdosed. "So we go stay with these patients and monitor them constantly. We watch them so they don't hurt themselves and watch the people who come visit them to make sure they don't pass anything to them" a source stated for Us. Why would anyone like to pass something to Britney? It's not like she has any friends left. Otherwise, I can't explain why her cousin Alli and her assistant Carla, who were with her in the house when the drama began earlier in the evening, left and let the police handle things instead of stepping in an preventing this madness form happening in the first place.

And so, this is how things are right now: Britney's in the hospital under permanent watch. Her father is apparently with her, as well as that shady character Sam Lufti (who is said to have followed the ambulance in his car only to be initially denied entrance to the hospital). No word on her mother or sister – but the kids are apparently with K-Fed, although no one knows for sure exactly what happened to Jayden while he was locked up inside the house with his mother.
