Over and over again, we heard that Britney is planning a comeback, that she's anxious to get back in the studio and on the stage and, on the side, that Mr. Spears is finally to release the album he has been working on for quite some time now.
The rumor is now (more or less) official, as a source from inside the record label has told 'The Sun' that the rapper has pushed back (again!) the date of release for the album so that he can include a duet with his wife on it.
The track hasn't been named yet, but the world is sure that it will turn out a genuine masterpiece in the music industry, considering that K-Fed will 'be rapping over [Britney's] singing'.
Just like in her marriage, Spears is already getting mixed messages from her fans and her music advisors but most of them incline to believe that this will eventually prove to be a wrong career move. And, besides, K-Fed said at the beginning of his hip-hop endeavor that he was trying to gain his own respect as an artist. Well, toss respect out the window...
In another order of ideas, Britney herself might take her next album down the rap path. Producer Jonathan 'JR' Rotem said about the project: 'It's not rap, but talk rap. It's definitely Britney, but the next level'.
