Actually, this is not actually a piece of news, since we've been hearing rumors about a tell-all in one of the major US magazines for almost half a year now. But this is closer to reality than anything else we've heard before so maybe, just maybe, we will finally get the chance to learn the truth straight from Britney and not thanks to some 'unnamed sources' no one can actually rely on.

And, yes, I'm aware that this is actually the second Britney post in just one day, but if the rumor is eventually confirmed it could be huuge... As we all know, Britney shot a video last week, for her first single in so many years. The track, called 'Get Back' and its accompanying video were subject to a lot of speculation both in the media and on the Internet. Because, like it or not, everyone wants to see Britney's comeback, even if she fails.

Along with the tens of paparazzi, who literally crowded the street outside the warehouse where Brit Brit shot part of the video, was also a reporter from one of the most circulated US celebrity magazines, 'OK!'. Sources from the set claim that the reporter contacted the pop tart in order to get an interview, an offer that Britney gladly accepted for being the first time that she is allowed to touch many subjects that were discussed in the media, like the custody battle she is now engaged in, the problems she is having with her mother, her overdue comeback and, last but not least, her alcohol issues.

However, other sources say that it was Britney herself the one who called the mag and practically gave them the interview for free. 'The pop tartlet recently called up "OK!" magazine's main number and asked for "OK!" Editor-in-Chief Sara Ivens. Miraculously, the mag's receptionist believed it really was Brit-Brit, and she was patched through to Ivens.', TMZ writes. Apparently, the editor in chief accepted Britney's proposal and the interview is a go! Even more, it will most likely hit newsstands this very week!

As I was saying before, this could be huge! If all goes according to plan/rumor, the interview will be the first in more than a year, since she gave Matt Lauer from NBC the exclusive interview which was meant to convince the public that she and Kevin Federline were not having marital problems (her appearance on Larry King, towards the end of 2006, when she officially announced she was getting a divorce does not count). So, make sure you keep your eyes on this space for more details.
