Britney Stars in Sexy Cartoon Video

- We're all curious to see Britney's new animated self

By: Monica Gaza, Entertainment News Editor

Britney Spears is definitely one of the most controversial presences in today's agitated world of showbiz entertainment – but a day to day life filled with mysterious drug use, manipulation, mental illness and legal troubles will not stand in the way of the former pop princess' musical
career – or what's left of it anyway. As a result, Britney's record label is about to release yet another single off Britney's controversial "Blackout" album, as proof that despite all her troubles, Britney's presence on the musical scene is undeniable. "Break the Ice" will thus benefit from an original, cartoon animated video featuring an anime-like superhero Britney.

If we were to have a closer look at some of the freshly-leaked video stills attached to this article, it's obvious that the cartoon Brit bears little resemblance to the singer's real-life appearance. In fact, you may even end up wondering if this really is a believable depiction of Britney Spears: no messy weave, no stained clothes, no thigh-skimming dress that reveals more than intended on the singer's every move, no vagina flashing, no paparazzi lover in tow. The cartoon Brit comes as an improvement of the real-life version, and rumor is, the popwreck came up with the idea herself a couple of years ago, when she reportedly told label bosses she wanted a cartoon version of her celebrated "Toxic" clip.

If I were to be really mean right about now, I would probably point out the fact that shooting a video featuring the real-life Britney would probably have been a much more problematic affair, given the past two occasions on which the then-erratic Miss Spears had to cope with a video shoot. It makes perfect sense to think that rather than having to deal with Britney being 12 hours late, storming out of the shoot or not showing up at all, Britney's record label would much rather deal with a much more sweet-tempered superhero animated version of the former pop sensation. Not to mention that Britney's hair looks way better in the cartoon version. Check out the stills and stay tuned – more Britney updates coming soon.
