Sources say she and Federline cannot come to an agreement

With a little over a month to go until Britney Spears’ “Circus” tour, her first live gig in many years, kicks off, word in the industry has it that she is seriously considering calling everything off. The reason for this, TMZ claims, is because Britney, estranged husband Kevin Federline and her father cannot come to a satisfying agreement regarding the two children Britney and Kevin have. If none is reached until the time of the departure, the source says, Britney will cancel her tour.

Apparently, the three had come to an understanding that suited all involved parties. The deal was to have the children in three “bases,” in New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles, where Kevin would reside in an apartment that Britney would pay. In between gigs, she would travel to the apartment and spend time with the kids, while also paying her former husband a reported $4,000 for each week she was on tour.

What went wrong with the deal, according to TMZ, was that Federline’s attorneys learned of the understanding, which was made with no legal support whatsoever, and are now opposing it for yet unspecified reasons. “For weeks, Britney, K-Fed and Jamie Spears have been privately hashing out a plan to let the kids travel with Brit while she goes on tour. The plan is to have homes in three bases – New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles. Sean Preston and Jayden James would stay in one of these three bases and mom would commute back and forth while doing concerts in each region.” TMZ says, citing well-placed sources.

Now that Federline’s attorneys are opposing the arrangement, with K-Fed himself reportedly scared to tell them that it’s in the best interest of the two children, TMZ explains that Britney would rather cancel her much hyped tour than risk losing the 50/50 custody she has of the children or not spend time with them. Although not that lengthy, “Circus” would mean a lot of time away from home for the pop diva, as it is scheduled to take place between March 3 and April 28.

“We’re told a week ago K-Fed's lawyers became aware of the plan and were furious, thinking Jamie went behind their backs. Sources tell us K-Fed’s lawyers have said they object to the plan but won’t specifically say why. Britney WILL cancel the tour if she can’t take her kids... we know that for a fact.” TMZ concludes by saying.
