Unconfirmed demo surfaces on the Internet

Lil Wayne has a solid reputation for working with the most successful artists of our time, but it seems no one knew he was also planning on doing a collaboration with none other than the Princess of Pop herself, Britney Spears. A track that apparently features Spears’ vocals, Lil Wayne and others has recently surfaced on the Internet and is making the rounds at an incredible pace, although no confirmation of its authenticity exists.

LilWayneHQ, for one, says the collaboration is official, though it’s possible what sounds like Spears is not actually her, since what has leaked is just a demo on which she will work at a later hour. Nevertheless, most fans incline to believe that the voice on the track is actually Britney’s, even if modified to sound a bit different than she normally does. As of now, no one has been able to confirm which is which.

“We finally have the full song for Lil Wayne’s ‘Bad’ verse and who would of [sic] thought it would have been for a Britney Spears record. The full song is called ‘Bad Girl’ and unfortunately it has some DJ drops on it. I don’t listen to Britney, so I can’t guarantee that this is actually Britney on the song, but if isn’t, it is a demo track for her.” LilWayneHQ says. Others, as already noted, are even less sure that the female voice is actually Britney’s – no better way to decide than by checking out the full track below.

The only consensus fans have been able to reach so far is that, even if questionable quality (some don’t like Lil Wayne’s contribution, while others say the track would have been better without Britney), is that “Bad Girl” has an incredible potential as a club hit. Just like the material Spears has been putting out since “Blackout,” this track too is all about the beats and the dance possibilities, and less about substance.

Also like with most tracks since the first single from “Blackout,” on “Bad Girl” too Britney sets out to wow whoever she’s addressing with her incredible seduction abilities. “A girl like me will bring you to your knees / ‘Cuz that’s what bad girls do,” Spears whispers on the track. Should she fail with the bringing-to-the-knees part, she would still succeed in making one break out the dancing shoes, they say. Check out the track below and see for yourselves if that’s truly the case.
