Britney Spears and Jason Trawick Hit Mexico on Her Birthday

After announcing on her Twitter she and her longtime (former manager) beau Jason Trawick would be going on vacation to leave all abuse allegations behind, Britney Spears has been spotted in Mexico on her birthday.

We also informed you the other week that, only a couple of days before Britney’s birthday, her ex-husband Jason Alexander went to the tabloids with a story according to which she was being abused in her current relationship.

He even claimed to have audio recordings of Britney saying these things to him – and he put out a few of them, only to be rebuffed by the star and her fans for being painfully obvious fakes.

Britney took the time out to deny the allegations herself – and then took Jason on a romantic trip to celebrate her birthday, People magazine reports.

“Britney Spears celebrated a very happy long birthday weekend with boyfriend Jason Trawick during a romantic trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico,” the magazine writes.

“When they landed, she got to the [private] villa and was blown away. Jason had arranged a red velvet cake for her birthday,” says a well-placed spy of how Spears was welcomed when she arrived on December 2.

The loved-up couple spent the extended weekend getting some well-deserved R&R and even more deserved time together, away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.

“They suntanned and did a lot of relaxing and decompressing. They seemed very much in love,” another spy confirms for People.

Moreover, despite rumors to the contrary always coming up in the media, the two have never been better: it’s almost like all these rumors have only made them stronger.

“The couple’s relationship is better [than ever]. Britney and Jason lately have been very happy together,” says another spy.

A photo of the two walking hand in hand on the beach, smiling, seems to confirm that, indeed, they’re not letting a scorned ex’s words and false claims get to them.
