It feels very strange to actually be writing this, but Britney Spears' newfound "normal" lifestyle really seems to be working for the popwreck. Ever since her dad Jamie took over, there have been no more bizarre, aimless drives around L.A., pink wigs and visits to fast-food restaurants or gas station public bathrooms in a long time. And now, it has been revealed that Britney's latest endeavor into the glitzy world of celebrity fashion - namely her rumored collaboration with fashion designer Christian Audigier - is actually happening. OK! magazine has revealed that Spears is in talks with Audigier to design a range of T-shirts.
"Britney and Christian had long talked about collaborating on a clothing line together," a spokesperson for the designer told OK!. "But the timing was never right. Now it looks like it's finally going to happen." However, as far as Britney's motivation goes, she is reportedly keen to prove to Commissioner Scott Gordon (the judge in her custody case) that she can handle tougher responsibilities and can be trusted to effectively mend her relationship with her two young sons. "She desperately loves Sean Preston and Jayden James, and her heart breaks that she can't spend more time with them. But she realizes that if she wants to have any hope of spending more time with her children, she's going to have to impress the court with her progress," a source told OK!.
The next court deadline for Britney is May 6th, and she is allegedly hard at work trying to prove she has turned her life around. However, we all know that, despite the wisdom of pop songs, miracles don't actually happen, and it will definitely take a lot more than a couple of T-shirts to turn Britney into a responsible parent. But she at least gets bonus points for trying. "She used to spend her days driving aimlessly through L.A., going from gas stations to Rite Aid to Taco Bell. Now, with a schedule set by Jamie that includes getting up by 8 a.m., there has been a noticeable difference in Britney's attitude," the same source stated.
