In an age when reality TV is one of the hottest topics around, some may find it strange that a celebrity the "size" of tabloid darling and universal popwreck Britney Spears doesn't have her own show yet. Of course, there was that "Chaotic" episode in her life, however, we're not talking shared spotlight here: the queen of messy meltdowns should have free reign and her
very own special show. Some of you could argue that every single second of Brit's life is spent under continuous media supervision and scrutiny anyway, so she might as well make some money out of it. In any case, the talk show in question is currently being pitched to major networks by Britney's mother and newly reinstated manager Larry Rudolph; it could very soon become a certainty.
The only one who reportedly opposes the project is Britney's father Jamie, currently entitled to supervise every single aspect of Britney's life, starting with checking if she's wearing underwear and ending with green-lighting all her trips in the outside world. Since he is currently credited with the visible improvement of his daughter's life, his word will probably weigh quite a lot in making the final call. Britney, on the other hand, allegedly wants to project to go though, and insists it will not put any kind of strain on her because there are no lines to learn. "She believes a reality show is a no-brainer. She can be herself and not have to study lines … Several production companies are interested in a Britney reality show and are willing to pay her millions," revealed an insider.
The show would focus on such things as "her day to day life, her struggle to make a comeback and her interaction with her family, including her kids and Kevin Federline". The problem is, Britney's popularity may not be what it was three or four years ago. Remember her cameo on the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother"? Despite the fact that it gave the show the best ratings ever, its regular cast doesn't want Britney back. "Our show does not need stunt casting in order to succeed," said Neil Patrick Harris. However, it looks like the "Chaotic" sequel - the Britney solo version - might be actually happening. Stay tuned for more updates.
