Britney Spears is back: despite several negative reports about the pop star and the quality of her recent live performances, she’s back to work. With a new album out now, Britney is getting ready to go on tour – and she’s super excited about that, she says.

In a brand new promo interview for “Femme Fatale,” the Princess of Pop talks about the decision to call her album just that, the collaborators she lists for the material and, of course, the upcoming tour.

As the video below will confirm, Britney has nothing but the best things to say about longtime collaborators Dr. Luke and Max Martin, who worked on “Femme Fatale” as well.

She also says Will.i.am, with whom she did “Big Fat Bass” is a “creature,” an artist in the true sense of the word, brilliantly original and bold enough to take all sorts of chances with his music.

The name of “Femme Fatale” is, as fans must already know, meant to suggest female empowerment. With this album, Britney hopes to send a very strong and positive message to young women and girls all over the world who may listen to her music.

In the same material, Britney reveals her favorite tracks on the album are “Criminal,” “He About to Lose Me” and “Till the World Ends,” the video of which was lots of fun to shoot because it also allowed Spears some creative input.

The Femme Fatale Tour will hopefully just be outrageously spectacular. I’m just hoping that the choreographers will come up with just the most outrageous things, and I’m really excited,” the pop star says of the upcoming tour.

As her manager revealed a while back, it will have a post-apocalyptic theme to it, to go hand in hand with the video for “Till the World Ends.”

“This is the most excited I’ve been about a project in a really long time, so I can’t wait,” Spears concludes by saying.
