Britney Spears Takes the ‘In-Laws’ Shopping

Though last time we heard of Britney Spears and boyfriend Jason Trawick, they were reportedly having a very hard time together, it seems they’re still an item and stronger than ever. In fact, things may actually have progressed between the two, as the singer was spotted for the first time on an outing with his parents, the Daily Mail says.

Cue to the tabs and the wedding rumors. For instance, the Mail says that, since this is officially the first time that Britney is seen in the company of Jason’s parents, there can be little doubt as to where their relationship is going. In other words, the pop star may be considering giving married life another try by tying the knot with her former manager, who’s been by her side through thick and thin for a very long time now.

“Things seem to be getting serious for Britney Spears and her boyfriend Jason Trawick. It was enough that she managed to drag him out shopping in Santa Barbara yesterday. But his parents came along for the ride too. The family spent time at Michaels Arts and Crafts store and came out loaded down with goodies. Wearing a brown and white striped bandage dress and a flat cap, 28-year old Britney flashed a huge smile as she walked out of the back of the store, followed by Jason, 44, and his parents,” the Mail writes.

Indeed, photos of the star show just how happy she was. “She was clutching a half eaten bag of gummy sweets as she headed to the car while Jason was left carrying the bags. One of their purchased items appeared to be a framed painting of Alice in Wonderland. This is the first time that Britney has stepped out publicly with Jason’s parents, sparking rumors that their relationship is moving on a pace,” the British tab further says.

In June this year, word on the blogosphere had it that Jason was with Britney only for her money (to which he had no access as of yet, since she’s still under conservatorship) and because of the exposure she guaranteed for him, and that he’d been cheating on her ever since they first started dating. Should the above – namely that she’s met his parents ahead of getting married to him – turn out to be true, it’s safe to say that said rumor about cheating was not true.
