As speculation is picking up that she and longtime beau Jason Trawick are talking about getting married once she’s done promoting her “Femme Fatale” album, Britney Spears is doing nothing to make the rumors come to an end, choosing to play coy about them instead.
The latest print issue of Us Weekly comes with an exclusive interview with the pop star, who opens up about learning from past mistakes, her comeback in music, her personal life and plans to marry again.
Just a couple of days ago, a report was saying that she was
“desperate” to tie the knot again and that she wanted to ring in the new year with as Mrs. Trawick.
While she doesn’t confirm the report, Britney surely isn’t denying it either,
Us Magazine reports.
“We have such a great time together!” she gushes, when asked whether Jason could be Mr. Right for her, after two failed marriages and some disastrous relationships.
“He makes me laugh, and we are so comfortable being ourselves,” the singer adds of the man who’s been by her side through thick and thin for many years.
As for whether they’re hearing wedding bells anytime soon, Britney graciously sidesteps the question. “Maybe. Never say never!” she teases.
She says she’s “never been happier” but would not say publicly whether she and Jason have even talked about the possibility of walking down the aisle.
Yet this is precisely where their relationship is going, one source very familiar with the situation says for the aforementioned celebrity publication.
“[Jason] was one of the only people who stuck by her through everything,” says the spy. He was there even when she was committed to psychiatric hospital for evaluation and lost the custody of her two children.
“[Jason] was someone she felt she could be her true self with. [Marriage] is what they talk about and the direction they’re going in,” the insider adds.
