Britney Spears Looks Pregnant in "How I Met Your Mother"

Britney Spears made her highly anticipated small screen "comeback" with a cameo in the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother". It was definitely nothing big (as in fact we had been previously warned), but as it usually happens with all things Britney does, the popwreck's short TV interlude drew a lot of attention, and has been in the headlines for weeks before the episode featuring Britney aired. You can check out the singer's full performance in the clips below, and judge for yourselves – but on the whole, it's probably safe to say the whole "small acting gig meant to keep Britney busy and give her a sense of purpose" trick worked. Trouble is, a few screen captures from the episode in question still seem to suggest Britney might be pregnant.

Everybody has been singing Jamie Spears' praises and claiming that Britney's dad effectively managed to bring some semblance of normality in his estranged daughter's life. Which is perfectly true, since the change in the singer's daily antics is pretty obvious: no more late-night aimless drives around town, no more bizarre escapades in the company of dubious pals the likes of Sam Lutfi or Adnan Ghalib, no more pink wigs and meltdowns in shopping mall fitting rooms. However, most of daddy Spears' efforts would probably go to the dogs, so to say, if it turned out his daughter was pregnant again – most probably, with her latest lover, British paparazzi Ghalib, as this would probably set another huge controversy snowball in motion.

Ghalib is known to have bragged to his friends about the fact that Britney was going to have his baby – but most of us filed this information under "I'll believe it when I see it". Which, turns out, might actually mean now. In several captures taken from Britney's "How I Met Your Mother" cameo, the singer does indeed look pregnant – although it could also be an illusion due to the clothes she's wearing. However, it's easily noticeable that Britney remains sitting (and hidden behind a counter) for most of her appearance, and when she does stand up, she seems to sport a rather visible bump.
