We've all known for a very long time that Britney is definitely not the sharpest crayon in the box, if you know what I mean. But now, after she infamously lost custody of her two boys and seemed perfectly happy about it two days ago, certain facts have come to light that prove - predictably - that it would have been very easy for Brit to keep track of everything the judge asked her to do and save herself a traumatic chain of events - not to mention not lose the boys. But remember what I was telling you yesterday about how it looked like she wasn't even trying to keep them? Well, just have a look at what she would have been expected to do - and then we'll talk some more.
What Brit Brit was supposed to do take 1:Britney was supposed to sign a document that would have allowed a custody evaluator to perform psychological evaluations on her. Commissioner Gordon ordered Spears to get the signed document to camp Federline lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan by Monday at 10:00 AM or appear in court.
What Brit Brit did:Nothing. She didn't sign the papers and she wasn't in court on Monday. But I'll tell you where she was - drinking and partying over the weekend, without a care in the world.
What Brit Brit was supposed to do take 2:Both Britney and K-Fed were ordered to submit proof they had valid California driver's licenses and insurance. He also ordered that neither party drive with the children if they didn't have the proper license.
What Brit Brit did: Over the weekend, Brit acted as if she was not aware of the judge's order and drove with her kids in her car in Malibu. She did not have a valid California license, but in the meantime, she applied for one and was issued a temporary paper license that will be valid until she gets the real license in the mail.
What Brit Brit was supposed to do take 3: Simply put, Britney was supposed to stay off the booze (and the drugs, but we don't know about that for sure).
What Brit Brit did: Thursday night, Britney went to the Sutra nightclub in Newport Beach. Various people say they saw her drinking alcohol after midnight. According to the judge's orders issued on the 17th of September, neither Britney nor K-Fed were allowed to consume alcohol within 12 hours of the time they obtained physical custody of the kids. And since Brit was supposed to pick the children up at 12 o'clock on Friday, this means she directly violated Gordon's orders.
So basically, what Brit Brit should have done was sign a piece of paper, get her California driver's license (which she applied and took the test for in April but never bothered to show up to have her photo taken and therefore never got it) and stay home on the night before getting the kids from k-Fed. Yes, I'm sure those were really difficult things to do. I mean, even getting out of bed or going to the bathroom is tough when you don't want to do it. So what do you think - was Brit's negligence real or she faked in order to have the kids stay with K-Fed indefinitely?
