Britney Spears Is Stunning for Harper’s Bazaar, June 2011

Britney Spears has a new album and an upcoming tour to promote, so it’s no wonder she’s getting plenty of magazine covers and interviews. The pop is the cover girl for the June 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

Even though she’s surrounded by paparazzi almost at all times and despite the fact that her personal life is tabloid fodder, there still are countless things that fans don’t know about their idol.

The Harper’s Bazaar interview seems to set out to clear the air on all of them, starting from which were her best and worst fashion moments, family and kids, and, of course, music.

Aside from revealing tidbits about her favorite treat / guilty pleasure, her all-time idol (Whitney Houston), her dream job right now (American Idol) and one fashion faux-pas, Britney gets serious.

For instance, she says she’s a huge fan of Justin Bieber and Rihanna, having already worked with the latter on a remix that was received very warmly by fans and the media.

“I think he’s adorable. I just saw his movie, and I really didn’t realize how big he was. He’s enormous; he’s just Mr. Man,” Britney says of teen idol Justin Bieber, of whom Rolling Stone once said he was the biggest thing since The Beatles.

As far as he’s concerned, Britney sees more in The Biebs than the regular fan.

“A lot of the movie is really similar to what I did when I was starting out. I did a promo tour for a year, going into radio stations and all that. It was so cool to see our similarities,” she says.

She also loves Rihanna, whose songs are guaranteed to get her moving, dancing.

“I love ‘S&M’ and ‘Only Girl’ by Rihanna; that’s why I jumped on the ‘S&M’ remix. She’s really cool. I like her a lot,” the star says.

Asked whether she’s like to get married again and perhaps even have more children, Britney admits she’s been thinking about it but stresses that it will all happen when the time is right.
