Britney Spears Is ‘Devastated’ at Not Being Able to Have Another Child

Britney Spears is again riding the wave, with her latest album, “Femme Fatale,” earning raving reviews and preparations for a new tour underway. Deep down inside, though, she’s very unhappy – because all she really wants right now is to have another baby.

A new report in the print issue of InTouch Weekly (story via here) claims that, with everything going so wonderfully for Spears on a professional level, she’s still longing for a change in her personal life.

Britney Spears wants to have another baby and to start a family with her boyfriend Jason Trawick, but she can’t because her dad Jamie would not risk her sinking into depression again, claims InTouch.

She’s always wanted a large family and there’s nothing she wants more right now than to become pregnant again, but Jamie has strictly forbidden her even from thinking about it.

“Though Britney desperately wants to marry Jason, 39, and give him a biological child of his own, her dad, Jamie, recalls her horrifying bout with Britney herself said was postpartum depression, which occurred after the birth of her second son, Jayden, and sent her into a downward spiral that eventually landed her in a mental institution,” InTouch writes.

Understandably, Jamie loves his daughter and would give anything to see her happy, so this is not about having his wish over hers.

However, he believes that Britney is still not stable enough to go through the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy again – and the decision is breaking Britney’s heart.

“While Jamie understands that Britney is ‘in love with Jason and wants to start a family with him,’ the source shares, he’s also trying to be realistic. ‘He feels she’s still too unstable to even think of having another baby’,” says the celebrity mag.

That hasn’t stopped her from dreaming about having a baby girl.

“More than once, the pal confides, Britney has told Jason that she’d love to have ‘three more kids.’ But now, it appears that for her own safety, Britney may have to put that plan on hold forever,” the publication adds.
