Britney Spears has been teasing fans about an upcoming collaboration with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea for a very long time, and the release date is drawing near. The song will be out in May, and by the looks of it, the official music video will drop at about the same time.

The two stars are already shooting it: they have been caught on location in Los Angeles, rocking fierce ‘80s fashion and hair, driving around in convertible cars and having some good ol’ girlie fun.

You can see one photo from the set above, but the Daily Mail has more, including a few that aren’t exactly what you could call “flattering” with the Princess of Pop Britney Spears.

The collaboration credits Iggy as writer; she also serves as co-director on the video, which will have a very retro vibe. This will definitely be a pure pop song, just perfect for the summer.

In the video below, Iggy explains how she and Britney came to work together and how the song evolved from a simple collab that would have featured her on the hook, to an actual duet. A “powerhouse duet” is what she calls it.

It will be out on May 5.
