Britney Spears Fires Publicist

Ever since the birth of the second Spears-Federline child, no official statement was released from the camp of the proud parents. The existence of Sutton Pearce was confirmed, thus far, only by the glowing grandfather, Britney's father, and the puzzle was put together this morning as news got out that the pop singer fired her publicist.

Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, a long time spokesperson for the pop princess and a publicist for other stars, among whom Lindsay Lohan is probably the best known, was fired because Britney decided to take all PR matters into her own two hands.

Media reports inform that the singer, waiting impatiently to get back into the music industry, took this drastic measure of disposing herself of Zelnick's services so that she may be able to handle Sutton Pearce's coming out in her own way.

The entertainment website Radar Online informs that, after giving birth on September 12, Britney Spears has been busy in arranging a lucrative deal with one of the biggest US magazines for the first pictures of the baby. The same source claims that 'OK! Magazine' reportedly bid $2 million for the photos, but it was turned down by Britney.

Without naming an exact sum, the source says that Spears finally set her mind to selling the photos to the more famous publication 'People', the same one that covered her wedding to wannabe rapper Kevin Federline and the now internationally famed pictures of Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and infant Shiloh.
