Shot in the desert outside Las Vegas, it could pass for an extended ad for her residency

Britney Spears teased her brand new music video, for the single “Work [B-word],” a few days ago and, now that it’s out, I can confirm that it’s just as hot as she promised it would be. And then some.

Shot in the desert outside Las Vegas, the video doubles as an extended ad for her upcoming 2-year residency at Planet Hollywood, while also reminding the world that, at the end of the day, Britney remains the reigning Princess of Pop.

Sure, there’s some visual trickery going on in there and there’s more than a fair share of product placement, but stressing too much on the negatives would distract from the bigger picture. Trust me, you don’t want that.

Because *it contains language that might offend, I won’t embed the video here but you can see it in full and in HD on YouTube.

It’s directed by Ben Mor and Britney had this to say about it: “I had to learn to use a bullwhip. I may or may not have hit Ben with it a few times.”

She clearly hit with it a couple of her female dancers, that’s for sure.
