Pop star is preparing to support her “Circus” album

It’s been such a long while since Britney got on a stage and rocked it like only she can, that most of her fans have probably lost all hope of ever seeing that again. Yet, as various media reports indicate, we might still “live to sing another day,” as Spears is back in the studio, rehearsing for her upcoming world tour.

Britney was never truly considered a “singer” in the most common sense of the word, the term preferred in relation to her being that of “entertainer,” especially when live shows were also in the mix.

For the best part of the last four years, the world and fans alike have perhaps forgotten all that (what with the debacle that was the M+M’s Tour), and this is precisely what this upcoming tour will do: remind us of the Britney we once knew and, most of us, loved.

Various reports have it that, the moment the starlet touched ground in LA, back from her brother’s wedding in Kentwood, Louisiana, she headed straight into the studio to rehearse for her tour. Poised to start sometime in March (which would mean there’s only so little time left for rehearsals), the tour will presumably support Britney’s latest album, “Circus,” although many still doubt she is truly that back on track to be able to pull it off.

“Circus,” recorded in semi-mystery and released quite all of a sudden, proved to be just the hit Britney and her fans (and her management, of course) had been waiting for so long. While still lacking on genuine talent and perhaps relying a bit too much on post-production work, as critics all over the world have pointed out, “Circus” is good for not pretending to be more than it is, and, at the same time, for finally allowing Britney to get back in the spotlight and redeem her reputation.

As for the upcoming rumored tour, no specific dates have yet been made available. However, since Britney has already gotten back in the studio, chances are that it is going to take place after all. Do keep an eye on this space for more details, once they become official.
