14 DAY TRIAL // Britney Spears has just announced the name of her upcoming album, which is scheduled for release on December 3. It’s called “Britney Jean” and you can hear it from Britney herself why she chose such a personal title for it.
The star is now in the UK to promote her new album and Las Vegas 2-year residency, and she made the announcement on Capital FM Radio. The interview is embedded above.
“At home, they always call me Britney Jean. It's like a term of endearment. I just wanted to share that with my fans,” a beaming Britney says.
As for the upcoming Las Vegas stint, which has been confirmed for Planet Hollywood, Britney says she’s “stoked” about it because it’s very different from going on tour.
“I've toured the world so many times and have been in different hotels every night. It's going to be nice just to have one place to be at for me and my children and my family. A tour based in one place just seems ideal,” she explains.
