We all know her as the perky, wholesome American teen who's managed to keep her youthful appearance for well over a decade, inspiring whole generations of girls. But Britney reveals in a recent interview with InStyle Magazine that she's had to work on her looks, just like everyone else.

When it comes to Hollywood celebrities, and especially teen idols like Britney Spears, rumors of “who's had what done” will be ever present. Now the “Toxic” singer comes out from under the shroud of mystery and reveals to her fans that she has visited the famous Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Raj Kanodia as part of her beauty regime.

And what exactly is Britney's little secret? “I've had lip injections before” she confesses, but denies ever having surgery. The singer has recently gone through a transformation which she's been showing off on magazine covers and on TV, in an effort to promote her latest album, “Britney Jean,” and also her upcoming Las Vegas show with Planet Hollywood.

Britney's doctor, Raj Kanodia, is famous in Beverly Hills as a top plastic surgeon, whose patient list includes a lot of A-list names like Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Aniston, Cindy Crawford, and Ashlee Simpson. He is known as “the King of the Hollywood nose,” having performed such operations with much success on Jennifer Aniston and Ashlee Simpson.

Spears said that Kanodia “does fun stuff to me sometimes,” a statement that can lead to speculations as to what else she's modified over the course of her career. Whatever it is, Britney did not overdo it, as some other Hollywood stars have done, so you really can't hold it against her. Britney looks pretty much unchanged since her “Hit Me Baby One More Time” days, albeit a bit older.

Of course, there are the rumors that Britney herself has had a nose job, which would explain why her plastic surgeon is Kanodia.

When asked about her beauty regime, Britney had this to say: “I think it's important to look good and feel good about yourself, but I go both ways on it. I think it's cruel how the world puts so much emphasis on our looks … In this business you make a deal with the devil. I've learned you kind of have to go with it. What I do calls for me to look good. People expect that. I kind of take it as my job.”
